and frigid conditions. we will see lows down to 21 or lower at napa. 23 at santa rosa and fairfield and livermore. down to 24 at morgan hill. upper 20s right around the bay shoreline. that's unusual. and san francisco will have a low of 36 which is very rare. san francisco's temperature will drop below 40. tomorrow sunny skies in the afternoon and the high temperatures in the south bay. 50 in san jose and 49 santa clara and 51 at los gatos. on the peninsula, highs will be around 50 degrees from san mateo to palo alto and chilly on the coast with highs in the upper 40s at half moon bay and pacifica. in and around san francisco look for highs in the upper 40s and the sunset district and daly city, 50 degrees downtown san francisco. on the coast, 46 bodega bay and 48 at stinson beach. 52 inland at santa rosa and napa. 51 at oakland and san leandro and the inland east bay will see highs in the upper 40s, 40 i 8 at -- 48 at fairfield and pleasanton. here is the accu-weather seven-day forecast. certainly in the mornings the temperatures will start to moderate on wednesday and thursday. t

is good. it is 41 in santa rosa and napa and novato and livermore 49 degrees. and check out the view. i have to step aside. it has been dumping in the sierra nevada. this is coming down from the lake tahoe cam. this is heavenly. snow here in the bay area, but not that much. over the hill, 1500 to 2500. a freeze warning goes up sunday into monday morning. so we will be looking at freezing cold conditions behind the front. the cold front is moving in which is why the rain is intensifying. as you look at the computer animation, all is not lost for your weekend. 1:00 a.m. the rain line is shifting into well south of south bay and into the monterey bay. and then it is all done. so now it looks like clearing early for your saturday plans. could be a light shower and maybe lingering around the monterey bay. winter weather advisory above 1500 feet. north bay mountains until 6:00 a.m. for the santa cruz mountains, the diablo range 2500 foot elevation until 10:00 a.m. expecting a couple inches of snow. the north bay is already seeing clearing. you could -- ukiah the snow has cleared. expecting 24

as santa rosa in the mid40s. concord is at 50 degrees. here is a look at the forecast highlights. we will look for a cooler day tomorrow. a few showers developing mainly in the north bay. cold and windy through the entire week. and it does look like freeze warnings will be up as we head into wednesday morning, tuesday and thursday. we will see a little high cloudiness. 30s in the north bay and 40s elsewhere and let's get to the timing of this thing. this is the frontal boundary right here. 11:00 and as it continues to sag south that is exactly -- it will exactly start to bring some moisture to the north bay. you can see monday afternoon, 3:00, this is where all of the cold air is. this is the cold front. it will move into sonoma county and possibly as far south as marin county with a chance of a few light showers and then continue to press on toward the south. it is the cold air mass behind it that will dive down. the wind will pick up out of the north. because of the insta belt we will keep a slight chance of a shower in our accu-weather forecast through about tuesday afternoon. now
